A total of nine people were shot and two were killed in Chicago through mid-Saturday, bringing the city’s total number of shooting deaths to 101 for 2017 so far.

The two killed were shot at a house party in Woodlawn, reports the Chicago Tribune, making them the 100th and 101st shooting deaths in Chicago.

A 38-year-old man and a 20-year-old were both shot by someone who opened fire at the party. The 20-year-old male was shot in the face and torso and the other man was shot in his chest. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

A 29-year-old woman at the party was also grazed in the thigh.

The shooting brings this year’s homicide numbers parallel to last year’s first two months. Last year ended with more than 780 killed in Chicago, the most violent in decades, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Three other people were shot in the South Shore neighborhood in the South Side of the city, according to data compiled by the Chicago Sun Times. They were shot shortly after 8 a.m.

Another two men, ages 40 and 38, were shot in the Belmont Central neighborhood on the Northwest Side early Saturday morning. Someone in a sedan pulled up alongside them and fired at the men. Both men walked into a hospital after they were shot  and were stabilized.

In addition, a 19-year-old woman was hit by gunfire as she was asleep inside her home early Saturday on the Northwest side. The bullet grazed her calf, and she declined medical treatment.

President Donald Trump this week tweeted out “Seven people shot and killed yesterday in Chicago. What is going on there – totally out of control. Chicago needs help!” after reports showed Wednesday was the deadliest day so far in the city, according to Fox News.
