The Coast Guard tweeted out an apology Monday after its Twitter account was compromised and used to tweet out invitations for sex.

The Coast Guard’s Mid-Atlantic Twitter was hacked Monday morning, according to spokesman Nate Littlejohn, and momentarily turned into a sex solicitation service, the Associated Press reports.

The account’s profile picture was changed to feature a scantily-clad woman, and the bio was modified to a solicitation: “Hi ! I’m looking for a sex. Meet with me.”

Littlejohn said a member of the media alerted the Coast Guard instantly, and within 10 minutes, the Coast Guard had regained control.

No other Twitter accounts were affected.

It’s unclear how the account was compromised.
