A group of students majoring in architecture at a fancypants women’s college on Manhattan’s Upper West Side has responded to Donald Trump’s promise to build a wall between the United States and Mexico by posting a huge sign reading “WE WON’T BUILD YOUR WALL” in the window of the student center on the impressively-policed campus.

The ladies-only school is Barnard College, reports Campus Reform.

The sign — in massive font — has endured in a jutted-out series of floor-to-ceiling student center window panes since at least February 1.

The display “was created by architecture students,” Barnard spokeswoman Anna O’Sullivan told Campus Reform.

“Similar signs have been posted by architecture students throughout the city and around the nation,” O’Sullivan also said.

Karen Fairbanks, a professor in the Columbia + Barnard architecture department, also indicated that the sign was “installed by students.”

The offices of the architecture department are located in the student center.

Barnard College’s policy for posting materials states that posters “may be posted only on designated bulletin boards” and “and shall not be larger than” 11 inches by 17 inches.

The gigantic sign reading “WE WON’T BUILD YOUR WALL” pasted in the student center window is much larger than 11 inches by 17 inches. Also, the floor-to-ceiling windows are constructed of glass, not bulletin board material.

A single year of tuition, fees and room and board at Barnard currently costs $65,992. That’s over $10,000 more than the median annual household income in the United States.

Barnard is most famous, of course, because its student government offered a “safe space” event at in the aftermath of Trump’s election victory. “Feminist coloring pages” featuring Hillary Clinton and Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg were available. Hot chocolate was also on offer. (RELATED: Coddled Children Of Privilege Mourn Trump Win With Safe Space, ‘Feminist Coloring Pages’)

The locale of the “safe space” event was the Barnard Social Justice Lounge.

In the immediate aftermath of Trump’s surprising victory, some students at the all-female haven started a petition late Tuesday night to cancel classes the following day. (RELATED: NO SAFE SPACE: The Daily Caller’s YUGE Roundup Of Campus Freakouts After Trump’s Victory)

At graduation in 2015, Samantha Power, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, told the graduating girls of Barnard that women continue to suffer from grave inequality in the United States. Afghanistan is superior to the United States in at least one way in terms of women’s equality, Power pontificated, because women hold 28 percent of the seats in Afghanistan’s parliament.
