A 29-year-old female high school teacher in Texas who was busted for having a slew of sex with two different 17-year-old male students has been sentenced to 10 years of probation.

The teacher, Haeli Wey, taught math at Westlake High School in an affluent suburb of Austin before she was arrested back in the fall semester of 2015 over allegations the trysts.

Wey, who was 27 at the time, was sentenced this week after pleading guilty to two counts of having improper relationships with the students, reports Austin NBC affiliate KXAN-TV.

Wey met one of the students over the summer through a student ministry program. At first, he didn’t realize she was a teacher at his high school.

When investigators with the Travis County Sheriff’s Office asked the teen if he had expected to have sex with Wey, he laconically and confidently answered “yeah,” according to a police affidavit.

The student told police that he and Wey had sex 10 or so times in August and September. The math teacher also sent him nude photos of herself, investigators say.

The fling between Wey and the first 17-year-old student stopped when he found out she was two-timing him by going on a hike with another 17-year-old student, according to investigators.

Wey had met the second teen at a summer camp. They kissed each other, fondled each other and had other, unspecified sexual contact inside Wey’s home, Wey’s arrest affidavit said, according to the Austin American-Statesman.

The second student told investigators that his family and Wey’s family are close friends. He said he initially encountered Wey at a ministry event in June.

The teacher allegedly used Instagram to warn the second 17-year-old student to delete messages between the star-crossed pair. She wrote “don’t let anyone get a hold of ur phone,” according to the Travis County Sheriff.

An unidentified teenager discovered the messages between Wey and the second teenager — the one who went on the hike — and informed authorities.

School district superintendent Tom Leonard described the allegations of sex — and lewd photo correspondence — between the 17-year-old male students and the 27-year-old math teacher as “shocking and upsetting.”

“Due to the nature of this situation, our counseling staff at all campuses is ready to provide support to students,” Leonard said in a contemporaneous statement obtained by Austin CBS affiliate KEYE-TV. “While this may be primarily a secondary school issue, we have an obligation to support students district-wide through what may be an intense and uncomfortable legal process.”

Students who did not participate in sexual activity or receive nude photos may have required therapy to recover from the trauma of learning about it, the superintendent added. (RELATED: High School Math Teacher Charged For Victimizing Male Teens With Nude Photos And Lots Of Sex)

The second-degree felony charges Wey faced — of improper relationship between educator and student — carry a maximum punishment of 20 years in prison.

Wey’s actual sentence, which is officially called deferred adjudication probation, means that she won’t spend any time in jail. Her case will eventually be dismissed as long as stays on the straight and narrow for a decade.

Wey had taught math at Westlake High for two years before resigning in October 2015.
