A twentysomething female high school teacher who pleaded guilty earlier this year for having massive amounts of sex with a 17-year-old male student has now cashed in on her notoriety by turning to a career in pornography.
The now-former teacher, Mary Beth Haglin, surfaced recently in an online porn video at an adult film site.
“Well let’s just say that pictures and videos like these is what got me into trouble in the first place,” the budding porn thespian explains in her debut film, according to the Daily Star, a British tabloid.
The subsequent porn action takes place in a standard, green-carpeted motel room.
Haglin, 25, admitted to having sex on a pretty much daily basis with the unidentified teen for about six months during the 2015-2016 academic year.
The intense affair began in October 2015 when Haglin was a long-term substitute English teacher at taxpayer-funded Washington High School in Cedar Rapids.

“He would come into my classroom, grab a Post-It, write something and stick it to my desk on his way out,” she told Inside Edition.
One of those sticky notes — which Haglin kept for some reason — read: “I love you so much, my empress.”
“I was completely head over heels,” the Coe College graduate said.
Haglin’s sex romps with the student occurred in various places including in her car at a public park.
In April 2016, someone posted a video on Twitter showing Haglin and the teen together outside a Smokin’ Joe’s Tobacco and Liquor Outlet — a small chain of sin stores with 16 locations across Iowa.
After Haglin was arrested and lost her job, she went to work as an erotic dancer at a strip club in the Cedar Rapids area.
In February, a judge sentenced Haglin to a year in prison — with 270 of those days suspended — for having an improper sexual relationship with a student, according to The Cedar Rapids Gazette.
Iowa’s age of sexual consent is 16. However, as in many states, there is an exception for situations when an adult is in a position of authority and has sex with a minor.
Haglin is not the first teacher to make news for an association with pornography.
In 2013, Texas high school Spanish teacher Cristy Nicole Deweese lost her job because students figured out she had once posed gloriously nude as Playboy’s “Coed of the Month.” “That’s my Spanish teacher!!!” read a representative comment under a YouTube clip featuring DeWeese. In Playboy’s online videos and photos, Deweese goes by the much sexier name, Cristy Nicole. She had just turned 18 when she removed her clothes for the once-illustrious men’s magazine in February 2011. In 2014, former high school English teacher Olivia Sprauer achieved 15 minutes of fame when she was featured on the cover of Hustler magazine. Inside the magazine, there is a 14-page photo spread of Sprauer showing her junk — under the far sexier name Victoria V. James. In 2015, high school band teacher Kristin Sundman of Kent, Ohio apparently appeared on X-rated websites engaged in all manner sexually-explicit acts with other women and also by herself, in the shower. Also in 2016, over in Merry Old England, 61-year-old chemical engineering professor Nicholas Goddard of the University of Manchester came under fire for his decade-long career moonlighting in the porn industry as “Old Nick.” The specialty of the sexagenarian — absolutely no pun intended — was sex romps with young porn starlets. Goddard’s collection of skin flicks, collectively called “Beauty and the Senior,” have been viewed by over a million avid porn consumers on websites such as Pornhub.
