Vandalizing A Trump Golf Course Helps The Environment Or Something

It used to be a bad thing for the President of the United States to go golfing. (Michael Moore did a whole movie about it.) Then, for eight wonderful years, it was fine for POTUS to go golfing as much as he pleased. Not only that, but criticizing him for it was racist! But now golf is bad again because the current president ran and won as a Republican. This is how it works in America.

A few weeks ago, writing an anti-Trump message in big letters on a beach was the cool thing to do. But that didn’t go far enough. Peter Holley, WaPo:

A group of environmental activists pulled off an elaborate act of vandalism at one of President Trump’s premier golf courses early Sunday morning.

The group — which labels itself an “anonymous environmental activist collective” — snuck into Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., and carved a message into the green with six-foot-tall letters that said: “NO MORE TIGERS. NO MORE WOODS.”

Is it “snuck” or “sneaked”? “Snuck” doesn’t sound right to me.

Anyway, here’s the video:

These geniuses tore up a golf course to protest Trump’s “blatant disregard for the environment.” I’m not sure how vandalizing somebody else’s property solves anything, but…

The golf course will replace the damaged sod, nobody’s opinion will change, and nothing will be accomplished. But at least a few people will feel better about themselves. They’re part of the #Resistance, you see. Yep. They sure showed him.
