Joy Behar made her opinions on the nature of Donald and Melania Trump’s marriage very clear Tuesday on “The View.”
“Compare them to the Obamas who looked like they loved each other. I don’t believe these two. I don’t buy it,” Behar said.
The statement came amid a comparison between a perceived lack of chemistry between the “winners” on the previous night’s season finale of “The Bachelor,” and a shot from the inauguration ceremony when Melania’s smile disappeared after Trump spoke to her.
Riffing on the calls to “Free Melania” that started from that shot, Behar said President Trump’s “got her as, like, a hostage up in this Trump Tower. She’s like Rapunzel. Let down your hair, Melania!”
