‘At Least A Dozen’ Injured After Car Attack, Reported Shooting Outside UK Parliament

The U.K. parliament in London was placed on lockdown Wednesday after a reported shooting took place outside the entrance, and at least a dozen people were injured at the nearby Westminster Bridge during an alleged car attack.

A police officer was stabbed inside the parliament building before the alleged perpetrator was shot dead by police.

Reports of a car plowing down “at least a dozen” on the nearby Westminster Bridge were also reported, according to Reuters. There is no official confirmation on the number of victims.

Police are treating the incident as a terror attack.
