Once More, Shia LaBeouf Divided From ‘He Will Not Divide Us’ Flag

I checked on hewillnotdivide.us just this morning, and the flag branded with the titular phrase was still fluttering proudly in the breeze. Shia LaBeouf divided his latest art project from the United States by an entire ocean, after moving it from Queens to Albuquerque and then to rural Tennessee, and it seemed to have done the trick. Moving it way over to Liverpool, England actually worked! HWNDU was A-OK. Trolls 3, Shia 1.

But that was hours ago. Rob Shimshock reports:

Following police advice, Shia LaBoeuf has taken down his anti-Trump “He Will Not Divide Us” flag just one day after moving it to the United Kingdom…

Three men scaled the Foundation for Art and Creative Technology (FACT) building in Liverpool, U.K., to remove the flag, as reported by Heat Street.

And of course, there’s no point in doing it if you’re not going to document it for all your little pals to see:

This is, of course, illegal. It’s trespassing and theft. And it’s not funny, mostly.

Clearly, any sort of outdoor setting is going to be a problem. If I were Shia, I’d move the whole thing indoors. Put up the flag in a locked room, and don’t tell anybody where it is. To be on the safe side, turn off all the lights so nobody can pick up any possible clue. Just a webcam staring out into empty darkness for the next four years, or the remainder of Trump’s presidency, whichever comes first. Poetic, right?

Leave Shia alone, guys. You made your point. He’s owned. You owned him. Let him have his futile gesture of protest.
