Royal Jordanian Airlines attempted to make light of a recent electronics ban issued by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

The flag carrier airline of Jordan released a graphic on its social media platforms, offering passengers a list of “12 things to do on a 12-hour flight with no laptop or tablet.”

Passengers can do things like “say hello to the person next to you,” or “meditate.”

The list was meant to be tongue-and-cheek, with the airline including some sarcastic suggestions like, “Engage in primitive dialogue from the pre-internet era,” and “Analyze the meaning of life.”

While many found the graphic to be amusing, some expressed their frustration with the new policy.

“Very lame ad… you could easily offer people free Wi-Fi so they can use their smart phone meanwhile!” one person lamented on the company’s Facebook page.

“How about improving your in-flight entertainment?” Another person asked. “Make sure it is always updated and working!”

The Trump administration issued travel restrictions March 21 in response to new intelligence indicating terrorist groups have “intensified” efforts to attack the aviation sector. (RELATED: Here’s Why Trump Banned Laptops On Flights From Select Countries)

“Our information indicates that terrorist groups’ efforts to execute an attack against the aviation sector are intensifying,” DHS asserted in a Tuesday press release.

The policy restricts passengers from bringing electronic devices larger than a cell phone on board an aircraft flying to the U.S. from 10 airports located in eight majority-Muslim countries.
