Cecile Richards said Ivanka Trump’s silence on the proposed Republican health care bill is “deafening.”
The president of Planned Parenthood criticized the first daughter, who is on a skip trip with her family in Aspen while debate over the American Health Care Act rages in Washington. Richards doesn’t feel the proposed Republican bill does enough to protect women.
“It’s time for Ivanka to stand for women,” Richards told BuzzFeed Friday. “It’s wildly unpopular. This is going to be a catastrophe for women in this country.”
