Ryan Sticks By Nunes — ‘No,’ He Should Not Recuse Himself From Russia Investigation [VIDEO]

House Speaker Paul Ryan gave a one-word answer when asked Tuesday if House Intelligence Chair Devin Nunes should recuse himself from the investigation into the 2016 election.

“No.”

WATCH:

Ryan spent the majority of the brief session stating Republicans’ dedication to enacting healthcare reform.

He did not address the Russia investigation in his opening statement, and the subject was only breached during the question and answer portion.

Despite calls from Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and other congressional Democrats, Nunes has maintained that he will not recuse himself, explaining that demands that he must do so are simply “politics.” (RELATED: Nunes — ‘I’m Staying Put’)
