Donald Trump’s deputy chief of staff is leaving her post after less than three months in the White House.

Politico reported Thursday afternoon that Katie Walsh was leaving the administration “to bolster the flagging outside groups that were meant to support his agenda.”

Walsh worked previously as the chief of staff at the Republican National Committee under the president’s now chief of staff Reince Priebus.

“Katie Walsh has accepted a position with an outside organization,” a White House official said in a statement. “She has been a tremendous asset to the President and we are confident she will be so in her new role as well.”
