According the results of the latest daily poll by Gallup, 57 percent of voters disapprove of the president’s performance. Trump’s rating has wavered since he was sworn into office in January, when his approval rating was at 45 percent. Since then, it has dipped between 35 and 45 percent.

Barack Obama had a 62 percent approval rating at this point in his presidency.

That rating could see a boost this week as Trump hosts three foreign leaders — Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and King Abdullah of Jordan at the White House and Chinese President Xi Jinping at his Mar-a-Lago club.
