She tried to be nice. Nevertheless, he was distant.

If you’re a Democrat, it’s no fun to keep losing. But at least it gives you an excuse to play victim. Victoria McGrane, Boston Globe:

In “This Fight Is Our Fight,’’ which is [Senator Elizabeth] Warren’s 11th book and is set for release Tuesday, the Massachusetts senator trains her scrappy prose on corporations and Republicans…

Her book ends with the Women’s March in Boston in January and thus stops before one of the most memorable recent skirmishes in her battle with Republicans — when Senate Republicans, led by Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell, voted to formally silence her during debate over the nomination of Jeff Sessions to be attorney general.

“I’ve spoken to him, but he has not spoken to me,” Warren said, laughing in a disbelieving way, shaking her head. “I say hello to Mitch every chance I get, and he turns his head.”

Heap big meanie, and how!

The big news here, of course, is that Elizabeth Warren has published 10 books. Despite a lack of interest among the American reading public, nevertheless she persisted.

My heart goes out to Senator Warren. Please say hello to her the next time you see her, Senator McConnell. Obviously it bothers her enough to whine about it in print. Your attention means that much to her. Would it really hurt to give her just a few seconds of it? Brighten the lady’s day with one of these:

Then she’ll find a reason to complain about that.
