A gunman opened fire in downtown Fresno on Tuesday, killing at least three people.
The suspect, 39-year-old Kori Ali Muhammad, harbored hatred of white people, Fresno police chief Jerry Dyer said after the shooting, the Fresno Bee reported…
While being taken into custody, Muhammad reportedly shouted “Allahu Akbar.”
Well, that’s an unfortunate coincidence. But most Muslims are peaceful. Most Muslims have never murdered anybody. Now they get to live in terror of an Islamophobic backlash that’s always inevitable and never quite happens.
All of Muhammad’s victims were white, and in another unfortunate coincidence, he hates white people. It’s probably not considered a hate crime, though, because they were white and that’s not how hate crimes work.
Too bad we’ll never know the motive.
Sorry again, Muslims. I don’t know why this keeps happening to you.
