Ann Coulter busted out laughing at Joy Behar during her Monday appearance on “The View” after the host gave her theory about President Donald Trump’s ongoing battle with the media.
“See I have a theory that the reason he [Trump] wants his supporters to hate the media is because as soon as this Russian investigation is really fully vetted we’re going to find out that he possibly committed crime,” Behar told the conservative author. “And he doesn’t want his supporters to believe the media when he’s gonna be put in handcuffs,” she added. “That’s what I think. What do you think?” (RELATED: Joy Behar Compares Trump To A ‘Dictator’)
The first response Coulter had was to just start laughing out loud, before she told her exactly what she thought.
“I mean of all the things to attack Trump on…,” Coulter said.
“Criminal behavior,” Behar interjected. “Treason…hello?”
“You’d have me changing the subject on many of them,” Coulter responded. “The Russia thing is insane, but I do want to back up. He [Trump] isn’t attacking the media, he’s attacking the fake media. There are so many lies about him.”
“Like CNN,” Behar quipped.
“Or are you talking about fake news in general,” Whoopi Goldberg jumped into the conversation. “Because he has lied quit a bit honey.”
“No, he doesn’t lie, he’s a BS’er, he’s an exaggerator,” Coulter responded. “It’s puffery.”
