Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas aggressively praised President Trump during a Wednesday meeting, applauding his “great negotiating ability.”
Near the end of the joint press conference at the White House, Abbas rattled off a list of compliments that nearly tripped up the translator.

“I believe that we are capable under your leadership and your stewardship, your courageous stewardship, and your wisdom, as well as your great negotiation ability, I believe with the grace of God and with all of your effort … we can be true partners to you,” he said.
