North Korea fired off a ballistic missile Saturday evening, according to South Korean media.

The weapon was fired from Kusong, located to the northwest of the North Korean capital of Pyongyang. It flew about 700 km into East Sea/Sea of Japan.

The launch marks North Korea’s tenth missile test this year.

A North Korean official said Saturday that the country is open to talks with the Trump administration, possibly in response to President Donald Trump’s statement that he would meet Kim Jong Un under the right circumstances.
