Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has expressed an interest in running for president, and the latest polling published Tuesday shows him leading President Trump in a possible 2020 matchup.

When 692 registered voters between May 12th and 14th were asked who they would pick if the 45-year-old actor ran as a Democrat against Trump, more of those polled selected the former wrestler, 42 percent to 37 percent, over the sitting president in the new Public Policy Polling survey. (RELATED: Oprah Doesn’t Rule Out A Presidential Run)

The action hero not only would beat Trump in the head to head  match-up, but 15 percent of voters who voted for the president last November would go for “The Rock” instead. Johnson’s favorability is also high among Democrats (38 percent) and Republicans (31 percent). (RELATED: Oprah Beats Trump In Latest Polling Of 2020 Match Up)

Eighty percent of those who responded answered via a phone survey, while another twenty percent answered through an internet survey. The poll’s margin of error is 3.7 percent.

Michael Moore has already endorsed the idea of the actor running for president.

“One thing the Democrats didn’t understand is that Trump is a beloved TV star,” Moore said in a recent interview.  “I’ve had this question now for almost 20 years–Why don’t the Democrats run Tom Hanks? Why doesn’t Oprah run?”

“Why don’t we run someone that’s beloved by the American people? Democrats always shy away from Hollywood, and I always say to them, ‘Really? Because out where I live, people love Hollywood! They love the movies. They love stars,'” Moore added.

“Run the Rock! Run the Rock,” he continued. “Who do you want for commander in chief? I want the f**king Rock! It would scare anybody that would hurt us. Think about how safe we would be if the Rock was president.”
