A Massachusetts college apologized after a hacker tweeted out anti-Black Lives Matter and pro-Trump messages on its official Twitter account.

Salem State University’s Twitter account was taken over Friday night, the day before Massachusetts Republican Gov. Charlie Baker was supposed to speak at graduation, reports MassLive.

“Our education revolves around white working americans, we don’t need you immigrant thieves in our school we are better than this,” one tweet reportedly read. Another tweet negatively referred to the Black Lives Matter movement, while another praised President Donald Trump.

“Trump has done nothing but great things for our country during his presidency and will fix all the wrong that nigger president did,” another tweet read.

The school was able to take back control of the account and subsequently deleted the tweets. Officials at the university condemned the tweets, saying they did not represent the school’s views.

“We are appalled by the hateful nature of these tweets. It is incredibly unfortunate that such a hateful incident occurred on the eve of our commencement, and we hope to move forward as a community and not let it detract attention from the incredible accomplishments of more than 1,400 students graduating today,” the school said in a statement. They also plan to strengthen their security measures to prevent it from happening again.
