A 23-year-old man was arrested Tuesday morning in connection to the attack at Manchester Arena, which killed 22 people.

The Greater Manchester Police did not reveal what sort of involvement the man is suspect of.

British security services believe they have identified the suicide bomber, Prime Minister Theresa May said at a press conference Tuesday.

They won’t reveal his name for the time being as it could interfere with the investigation. May confirmed the attack was carried out by one attacker. Authorities are now trying to figure out whether he’s a “lone wolf” or part of a larger network. (RELATED: Report: Suicide Bomber Responsible For Explosion At Manchester Arena [VIDEO])

“The police and security services believe they know the identity of the perpetrator but at this stage of their investigations we cannot confirm his name,” May said.

Authorities admitted that the process of finding a clear picture of who was behind the attack will be difficult since the lone bomber died in the blast.

“We have been treating this as a terrorist incident and we believe that while the attack last night was conducted by one man, the priority is to establish whether he was acting alone or as part of a network,” Chief Constable Ian Hopkins said in a statement. “The attacker, I can confirm, died at the arena. We believe the attacker was carrying an improvised explosive device, which he detonated, causing this atrocity.”
