Fox News has retracted its Seth Rich conspiracy theory story involving the DNC staffer’s murder that host Sean Hannity has been backing hard. So Lauren Duca saw this as a fresh opportunity to insult Fox News. In the process, she unintentionally offended victims of sexual assault.

Rich was murdered in Washington’s Shaw neighborhood in 2016. Ever since, there have been unsubstantiated reports indicating that the killing was payback for Rich’s supposed involvement in leaking DNC emails to Wikileaks.

Duca, who previously covered entertainment for The Huffington Post and is now a freelancer and “Thigh High” columnist at Teen Vogue, has deleted her tweet.

Except now she’s a victim of Twitter’s wrath.

She has only herself to blame.

Some of the comments range from a simple “delete” to worse.

Others remarked about how she was slighting real victims of sexual assault.

Duca makes the most of her brand. Her contentious TV appearance on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” for example, is featured in the second line of her bio.

“You may know her from her massively viral piece ‘Donald Trump is Gaslighting America,’ or a Fox News appearance opposite Tucker Carlson, during which she either emerged as a feminist hero or had a seizure on national television,” she wrote in third-person.
