Everything old is new again. Polaroids used to be a thing. Now they are a thing again. I may have witnessed a Polaroid camera or too at parties in college, but the concentration of Polaroid cameras I saw this past weekend was unprecedented. I was at this wedding, and there was a little guestbook in which you sign your name and write a message next to a Polaroid picture you take of yourself. To assist in this task, there were two Polaroid cameras on the table. Also, completely separately, I had a friend dragging a Polaroid camera around Seattle to take pictures of things. That’s three Polaroid camera sightings in one weekend!
So maybe I should get a Polaroid camera? Probably not. By the time I get married, they will assuredly be out of style again. That said, if I am considering a Polaroid, today would be the day to do so. The newest model, the Polaroid Snap Touch, is on sale in this one-day-only deal.
