Thousands of people were evacuated from one of Germany’s largest rock festivals Friday after “concrete indications” of a possible terror threat.

Organizers postponed the start of the three-day festival and asked visitors to exit the grounds “in a calm and controlled manner.”

“The background is concrete indications, which can lead to a possible terrorist threat,” police said in a statement, according to Die Welt. “Investigators are currently under intense pressure.”

Police have not yet revealed any details on the lead they received.

Rock am Ring is one of Germany’s largest music festivals, held annually at a racetrack in the city of Nuremberg. Some 85,000 spectators were expected during the weekend.

Authorities have increased security at events around Europe after the May 22 suicide bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, which killed 22 people.
