Russian president Vladimir Putin, speaking on-stage with Megyn Kelly, compared accusations that Russia hacked the United States’ 2016 election to anti-Semitism.

Putin criticized U.S. intelligence reports that concluded Russia interfered in the election as having “no specific evidence, no facts, just assumptions, allegations, and conclusions based on the allegations, nothing more,” he said.

Putin then reportedly said the rhetoric around Russian hacking in America, “reminds me of anti-Semitism and blaming the Jews.”

Of the hacking allegations, Putin remarked “IP addresses can be invented, a child can do that! Your underage daughter could do that. That is not proof,” also calling the accusations, “idle prattle.” (RELATED: Putin Rips Earpiece Out When Megyn Kelly Asks About Russian Interference In The Election [VIDEO])
