Former national security adviser Michael Flynn has turned over 600 pages of documents to the Senate Intelligence Committee, a source familiar with the matter tells The Daily Caller.

Most of the records are from two of Flynn’s companies, though some are personal, the source says.

The handover comes in response to subpoenas submitted to Flynn’s companies last month as part of the Senate committee’s investigation into potential Trump campaign collusion with the Russian government.

The committee issued the subpoenas to Flynn Intel Group LLC. and Flynn Intel Group, Inc. after Flynn invoked the Fifth Amendment in response to a personal subpoena.

North Carolina Sen. Richard Burr and Virginia Sen. Mark Warner, the chairman and vice chairman of the committee, respectively, said that they issued the subpoenas against Flynn’s companies because corporations are unable to invoke the Fifth.

The source close to Flynn said that the retired lieutenant general is turning over the personal documents after the Senate committee narrowed the scope of its original subpoena.

In addition to being at the center of the Senate Intelligence Committee’s probe, Flynn is also at the focus of an investigation being conducted by the FBI and special counsel Robert Mueller.

Federal grand jury subpoenas have also been issued for Flynn’s business records out of the U.S. attorneys office in Virginia. The subpoenas reportedly seek information about Flynn’s arrangements with the Turkish and Russian governments.

As chairman of Flynn Intel Group, Flynn signed a $600,000 lobbying and consulting contract in August with a Turkish businessman close to the Turkish government. The contract called for Flynn Intel to investigate a political opponent of Turkey’s president.

Flynn was advising Donald Trump’s campaign at the time, though he did not disclose the work to the Justice Department, as required by law.

Flynn, who was fired as President Trump’s national security adviser on Feb. 13, filed as a foreign agent of Turkey in March.

Flynn is also facing scrutiny because of a $45,000 payment he received from RT, the Russia-controlled media company, to attend a gala in Dec. 2015.
