Seven of the more than 50 paperwork requirements the White House eliminated on Thursday dealt with the Y2K bug, according to a memo OMB released. Officials at the agency estimate the changes could save tens of thousands of man-hours across the federal government.
This is unbelievable. For all we know, the Y2K bug is still out there, lying in wait. Biding its time. Waiting for the perfect moment to strike. If it does, shouldn’t our brave and stalwart civil servants be ready? Smaller government means more dead babies, which is bad unless they were aborted.
