The first trailer has been released for “Daddy’s Home 2” starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg.
The film is the highly anticipated sequel to the commercially successful predecessor “Daddy’s Home.”
The plot of the second installment, according to the YouTube description on the video, is, “Two men (Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg) must deal with their intrusive fathers (Mel Gibson, John Lithgow) during the holidays.”
While Wahlberg and Ferrell’s characters were enemies in the first film it looks like they’ll be on the same side for this one, judging from the hilarious trailer.

The film is scheduled to be released November 10, and also stars John Cena, Alessandra Ambrosio and Linda Cardellini.
The comedic movie also represents a shift for Mel Gibson, who will return to the big screen in the biggest commercially viable film since making racially insensitive comments. Many thought that would end Gibson’s career forever, and at the time it looked like it would. However, it looks like his career has been revived from the dead.
