The Pence’s welcomed two furry additions to their family this weekend–a kitten named Hazel and a puppy named Harley.
Second lady Karen Pence announced the new pets on her Twitter account Sunday.
“We welcomed a new kitten to our family during our trip back home to Indiana this weekend!Introducing: Hazel!”

The puppy, she said, was a gift for Mike Pence for Father’s Day.

Vice President Pence retweeted both of the tweets.
Hazel and Harley already seem accustomed to their new family, as pictures show the furry critters cuddling and sleeping with the Vice President and Second Lady. Pence’s daughters, Charlotte and Audrey, also look quite happy to welcome Hazel and Harley.
