Celebrating his 71st birthday today is our beloved 43rd President, George W. Bush. Although he has been relatively quiet since he left office in early 2009, he has kept busy with his painting and continued involvement with wounded veterans. (RELATED: George W. He became more visible and outspoken during the Republican presidential primaries, as his brother Jeb! was seeking the nomination. Recently, President Bush was on a media tour promoting his new book of paintings on wounded veterans, aptly named “Portraits of Courage.” The former president has made headlines with his artistic skills, painting various world leaders from his time in the Oval Office.
