There is no question Alex Morgan, one of the top female soccer players in the world, scores on and off the field.
At 27 years old, Morgan has accomplished more than most players hope to achieve in their entire careers. She was the runner-up at the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup at the young age of 22. A year later, she scored the game-winning goal in the semi-final game against Canada and got an Olympic gold medal. Subsequently, she was named U.S. Soccer Female Athlete of the Year.
Oh, and she also helped the U.S. win the 2015 World Cup.
Morgan has recently been added to the Orlando Pride roster. Her return to the team comes after a five-month stint with the French club Lyon and a recurring hamstring injury.
