Conor McGregor’s fight against Floyd Mayweather is a few weeks away, and we all should be sincerely hoping McGregor lights him up.
Mayweather’s boxing record is 49-0, and he’s arguably the greatest boxer to ever live. However, his life has been exposed as a lie recently. The boxer’s entire brand is built on having so much money that it’s nothing more than paper to him, but that’s not the reality of Mayweather’s life. He no longer has the funds to pay his tax bills, and has reportedly, not been able to pay his taxes on time for several years.
Secondly, he has a history of beating women, which is obviously never acceptable. I respect Mayweather’s fighting ability in the ring. However, it’s hard to look past the fact he lies about his money, and much more importantly, he put his hands on a defenseless woman.
Now, lets move on to why we should all hope McGregor decapitates Mayweather. McGregor came from the depths of poverty, and was collecting welfare up to a week before his UFC career began. He’s now cashing massive checks and has become a sports icon.
He is also one of the greatest trash talkers of my generation. The verbal attacks he has thrown toward Mayweather are downright vicious and hilarious.

If McGregor really wants to drop a verbal bomb on Mayweather and get inside his head, he’ll casually bring up the fact Mayweather is a woman-beater during the London press conference.
The Irish-born UFC star is not just all-hype, he’s a legit entertainment attraction that backs it up. The odds might not be in McGregor’s favor, but I think it’s safe to say the majority of fighting fans want to see Mayweather put on his back.
If anybody needs to find me on August 26th I’ll save you the trouble, and tell you I’ll be in front of a TV, with plenty of beer and wings and praying that McGregor obliterates Mayweather.
