Caitlyn Jenner said she’s considering a “senatorial run” and getting into politics.

“I have considered it,” the Olympic gold medalist told John Catsimatidis in an interview that aired Sunday when asked about her possible senate run. (RELATED: Caitlyn Jenner Jokes After Alexandria Shooting: ‘Liberals Can’t Even Shoot Straight’)

“I like the political side of it,” she added. “The political side of it has always been very intriguing to me. Over the next six months or so, I gotta find out where I can do a better job.”

“Can I do a better job from the outside,” she continued. “Kind of working the perimeter of the political scene, being open to talking to anybody? Or are you better from the inside, and we are in the process of determining that. Yeah, but I would look for a senatorial run.”

Jenner–who supported President Donald Trump in 2016–said on “The View” Thursday that Trump’s “shaking a lot of things up” and that’s a good thing.

“We have to get someone in there who can straighten things out,” Jenner explained. “He [Trump’s] shaking a lot of things up since he’s been in there, and I think from that standpoint that’s good. Let’s give the guy some time. What’s it been–six months?”

“Let’s give the guy some time,” she added. “You know, in three-and-a-half years from now we get to decide again. And if it didn’t work out, let’s get him out and get someone else in. If not, if by that time he’s lowered taxes, helped the economy, he’s created jobs, he’s done all these things that are good for the country, then you can re-elect him.”
