Gender reveal events are pretty lame to begin with, but they get a lot more exciting when they fail miserably.
A video posted Tuesday on Instagram by Barstool Sports shows a man taking a crack at a baseball presumably filled with colored powder for the respective gender of the baby.
However, things took an absolute turn for the worst when his wife lobbed him the ball. He made great contact — and beamed her squarely in the face.

That’s a tough pill to swallow, and perhaps it’ll be further evidence that couples will stop doing this garbage.
Hammering your wife in the face is never going to lead to anything positive. Also, shout out to the father for calmly saying, “that didn’t go well” as his wife is screaming in pain. Great athletes always have a way of keeping their emotions in check during a time of crisis.
