Abby Lee Miller explains that she “probably won’t survive” prison in a promo clip released Tuesday for an upcoming TV special on her troubles.

“I am doing the time,” she added. “I am taking the blame.”
Miller checked in to the FCI Victorville prison in Southern California last week to serve her one-year sentence behind bars. The “Dance Moms” star was sentenced in May to one year and one day in state prison after she was found guilty last year on 20 counts of fraud.
Before she turned herself in, Miller reportedly sent a message on Instagram to her followers about serving time and claimed that “facts were omitted from the case” against her, according to E! News. The post has since been removed.
“Today is going to be a tough day,” the “Dance Moms” star wrote. “Seems as though important facts were omitted from the case. Just wanted to let the world know–moms & girls all made money, Lots of money! Nobody was doing me a favor out of the kindness of their hearts!”
After she serves her time behind bars, she will be remain on probation for another two years. She also must pay a $40,000 fine and $120,000 judgment fee.
Last year, Miller plead guilty to one count of bankruptcy fraud and another count for failing to report more than $10,000 worth of Australian currency she brought into the country.
In 2015, the “Dance Moms” star was indicted on a variety of fraud charges relating to hiding bankruptcy assets and making a false bankruptcy declaration. She was first accused of trying to hide $775,000 worth of income she earned on her show “Dance Moms” and related spinoff TV shows between 2012 and 2013 when she filed for Chapter 11.
