New Jersey Republican Gov. Chris Christie caught a foul ball from the comfort of his seat at a New York Mets baseball Tuesday night.

The left-handed grab with his bare-hands isn’t an easy feat, but the Mets fans weren’t impressed. They promptly booed the embattled governor as he lifted up the ball for the world to see.
“Nice to see him get from the beach here to the ballpark,” Dan McLaughlin, the play-by-play television announcer for the visiting St. Louis Cardinals said over the air.
To the governor’s credit, he appeared to give the ball away to a young fan nearby.
