Carmen Electra has been granted a restraining order on Thursday against the man who has been staking her out and compiling personal information on the 45-year-old actress.

Daniel Leblanc was sitting in his car outside of Electra’s home when the police caught him with a notebook filled with information on the Baywatch star, TMZ reports.

Carmen’s assistant was the first to confront the mysterious man. Leblanc asked her if the house was in fact Electra’s and — thinking she might run him off — she responded that it wasn’t. But Leblanc responded “we’ll see about that” and remained in his car outside of Electra’s home, prompting her assistant to call the police.

When officers arrived on the scene Leblanc told them he was Electra’s husband, but later said that he was just her fiancé and “madly in love” with her, according to TMZ. The police discovered a notebook in the man’s possession in which he had written down phone numbers, addresses, dates of birth, license plates, emails and other information for Carmen, her family and her employees.

Police put the fan on a 72-hour hold for psychiatric evaluation after the incident. Carmen requested a restraining order against him on Thursday, which was granted. It requires that Leblanc stay more than 100 yards away from her and cease all contact or harassment.
