Caitlyn Jenner called out President Donald Trump Wednesday after he tweeted that the “United States Government will not accept or allow transgender individuals” to serve in the military.
“There are 15,000 patriotic transgender Americans in the US military fighting for all of us. What happened to your promise to fight for them? https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/742771576039460864 …,” Jenner tweeted along with a past tweet from Trump about fighting for the LGBT community. The comment comes after the president announced on Twitter a reversal to the Obama-era policy in a series of tweets that detailed the reasons for the decision. “Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail,” Trump said in one tweet.

The Olympic gold medalist has been a vocal supporter of Trump and most recently defended the president’s record in office on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
“If you’re on the conservative side and you believe in our Constitution, I’m glad Neil Gorsuch for the Supreme Court,” Jenner explained. “[Trump has] lowered regulations in a lot of different businesses to help business get going. I don’t want massive regulations, I don’t want massive taxes. Especially since we’re the highest taxed country in the world…”
