White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci has offered his resignation, ABC News has learned…
A day prior to Priebus’ announced departure last week, Scaramucci made headlines for delivering a scathing, profanity-laced critique of the chief of staff to a reporter with The New Yorker.
It was pretty crazy that a day after that interview — “I’m not Steve Bannon, I’m not trying to suck my own cock” — his target Reince Priebus was out and he was still in. Apparently, that lasted all of a weekend.
That’s how these things tend to go in that world, right? You hire a hitman to take out your target, and then you get rid of the hitman. Nothing personal.
Seriously, though, this was Kelly, right? I’m sure this is the beginning of a new era of stability in the White House, until Kelly does something to piss off Trump and he’s out too.
As baffling and nauseating as this is, it could be worse. I could be a Democrat! Imagine watching all this and wanting to say something about it, but then remembering that your party nominated Hillary Clinton.
