Netflix released the first full trailer for its upcoming crime-thriller “Mindhunter” Tuesday afternoon.

The plot of the show, according to the Netflix description, “How do we get ahead of crazy if we don’t know how crazy thinks? Two FBI agents (Jonathan Groff & Holt McCallany) set out on a sinister investigative odyssey to discover the brutal answers.”

The trailer opens with an ominous voiceover stating, “It’s not easy butchering people. It’s hard work. Physically and mentally I don’t think people realize you need to vent.”

With that chilling opening I don’t even care what the rest of the trailer is. I’m all in on these two FBI agents, one of whom of course is almost certainly going to go rogue, as they hunt vicious killers.

We’ll all have to wait and watch to figure out if it lives up to they hype, but it’s hard to believe it won’t be awesome given Netflix’s recent successes.

“Ozark” was proof that Netflix could crush it with complete ease when it comes to dark dramas and thrillers.

October 13 can’t get here quick enough.
