Caitlyn Jenner appears to be softening in attacking President Donald Trump over his military trans ban, calling it “disappointing” Tuesday.

“We”ve had especially a lot of trans men who are frontline, Afghanistan, fighting for our country and they deserve our respect,” the 67-year-old Olympic gold medalist explained at the WORLDZ Cultural Marketing Summit in Hollywood. (RELATED: Caitlyn Jenner Puts Trump On Blast Over Military Trans Ban)

“And so it’s just very disappointing,” she added. “We’ll see what happens in the future. But that one was very, very  disappointing.”

Last week, Jenner blasted the president in a blog post and suggested everyone should be “outraged.”

“This AM, @POTUS attacked trans people fighting for our country. Every American should be outraged. My full response: http://bit.ly/2uYRt7S,” Jenner tweeted following Trump’s announcement that the “United States Government will not accept or allow transgender individuals” to serve in the military.
