Playboy Model Lauryn Elaine Opens Up About Her Detainment In Mexico

Three Playboy models were wrongfully detained by Mexican immigration authorities on June 30. Now they will grace the cover of Playboy Mexico’s August issue, which will let readers in on their unfortunate experience.

The three playmates were attending a party for Playboy Music Fest in Merida, Mexico when immigration authorities stormed in to the event and started checking papers. (JAILMATES: Playboy Models Detained In Mexico)

Under the assumption that the three girls were working the event for pay without a proper visa, Mexican authorities threw them in the back of a van and took them away to their office where they were detained in a holding cell for nearly 24 hours.

American model Lauryn Elaine joined The Daily Caller for an exclusive interview earlier this week to detail the events of the evening and give us some insight into what it’s like to be detained South of the border.

The August Issue of Playboy Mexico, featuring the three girls, was released on Thursday August 3.
