The Tampa Bay Buccaneers might need to fix some of their locker room problems.
Rookie tackle Cole Gardner got into a heated spat with teammate and defensive end Noah Spence, and it ended with the two throwing punches at each other, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
It’s not a smart idea to be punching your teammates, and it’s really not a smart way to punch somebody in the face who is wearing a helmet. That’s a surefire way to hurt your hand, and possibly break it.
You know it’s NFL training camp time when players start fighting. It’s a little surprising that this appears to be the first filmed fight in a practice we’ve had so far in training camp. Some coaches enjoy this fire out of their players, and they embrace the chaos.
Other coaches, such as New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, don’t tolerate any fighting between teammates. Men get upset and things happen. It’s not a big deal if it’s quickly forgotten, but if this carries on for a while, the Bucs will have a massive problem on their hands.
