A lot of things have changed between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt since the “Tomb Raider” actress filed for divorce — so much so that they have stalled the proceedings.

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September of 2016 after an incident in which “The Big Short” star reportedly got rough with one of their six children. However circumstances have changed between the couple over the past few months, and the divorce proceedings have come to a “stand still,” E! News reports.

“It’s true that the divorce is not moving forward right now. They are taking a breather and seeing what happens,” an insider told E!. (RELATED: Brad Pitt Was A ‘Professional’ Drinker Before His Split With Angelina Jolie. Now He’s Clean)

The “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” stars have both opened up about their shocking split in recent interviews. Pitt revealed in an interview with GQ Style that he had let his drinking get out of hand and is now sober.

“A lot has changed since Angelina filed,” the source told E!, noting that “Brad has been working on self-improvement.” (SLIDESHOW: 22 Reasons Not To Sleep On Angelina Jolie)

Jolie originally requested sole physical custody of their six children, ranging from age 16-9, but she has become more relaxed now that Pitt cleaned up his act a bit.

“Things have settled between Brad and Angelina,” a source told E! back in March. “It’s not as tense as it had been. They recently started talking again and it’s a significant step. Up until now, everything was through lawyers and assistants.”

“The whole family needs to heal,” the source added. “Thankfully both parents are committed to making sure that happens.”
