Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott won’t be back on the football field anytime soon.
The electric second year player was slapped with a six game suspension after the NFL concluded its investigation into domestic violence allegations against Elliott.
The NFL found “substantial and persuasive evidence” to support the claims of violence against the Cowboys star, according to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport.

Elliott has been in lots of trouble recently. Domestic violence accusations aren’t his only problem. He also pulled down a woman’s top during a parade and allegedly smashed in a man’s face at a Dallas bar.
There could be another suspension heading down the pipeline for his alleged role in the Dallas bar fight. Elliot could miss the majority of the season if he doesn’t get his act straightened out quickly.
