Vladimir Putin’s supporters are now posting topless photos on Instagram to show their support for the Russian president.
Men are taking their shirts off and taking to Instagram to show their respect for their Russian president who enjoys posting photos of himself shirtless, reported The Telegraph. Supporters are calling the stunt the Putin Shirtless Challenge and using the viral hashtag #putinshirtlesschallenge. There are over 2,500 photos with the hashtag on Instagram.
While some of the Instagram photos might be an excuse to show off chiseled abs, they clearly took Vladimir Putin’s frequent shirtless photos to heart.
“Go hard like Vladimir,” captioned one man on Instagram.
However, some supporters used it as an excuse to repost Vladimir’s latest shirtless photos. “Good man no need for upper garment,” wrote an Instagram fan page for Putin.
Putin’s latest shirtless photos are on a summer vacation in Siberia, reported The New York Times Aug. 5.
