August 26 is going to be a great day for America.
One week from today we will have college football back on our televisions, and come nightfall, we will finally get to see Conor McGregor fight Floyd Mayweather.
There has been a lot of noise and distraction sweeping across America, and we need something else to focus on. When I turn on the television, all I hear is about how fractured America is. However, in just one week we’ll finally have something else to talk about.
Everybody has been talking about the Mayweather and McGregor fight. It’s a fight the people in this country have been drooling over, and for good reason. It’s arguably the greatest boxer of all time against an out of this world personality that’s Irish UFC star Conor McGregor.
It’s something we’ve never seen before in sports. It’s a man coming out of the UFC to fight one of the greatest boxers ever.

And we’ll get our college football back too. It’s not the greatest slate of games. It’s kind of a soft opening before we get to the real games, but football is football.

Next Saturday we’ll turn a corner in America. We’ll have football back and we’ll have a fight for the ages during the night.
I can’t wait.
