The Shreveport Police Sex Crimes Investigators have been looking into the case since 2016, but some recent physical evidence analyzed in a lab linked Tyler and another man named Averweone Holman to the alleged rape, Page Six repots.

Holman was arrested August 18, but Mystikal didn’t turn himself in until Monday afternoon. Both of them were then charged with first-degree rape and bond was set at $2 million for each of the suspects.

Another rapper, named Tenichia Wafford, was also arrested on the charge of accessory in connection with the rape after he reportedly tracked down the alleged victim and tried to convince her to drop the charges against both Holman and Tyler.

The 46-year-old rapper is best known for his hit song “Shake Ya A**” from 2000, but he has been pretty much absent from the spotlight since then.
