White House Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney threw so much shade at his friend and former House colleague, Rep. Trey Gowdy, on Twitter that he nearly blocked out the sun for a second consecutive day after Monday’s lunar eclipse.
Mulvaney is widely known as a fiscal policy genius, but it appears the number-crunching secretary moonlights as an amateur comedian. The secretary offered Gowdy, who turned 53 Tuesday, a “razor and a comb” for his birthday, a reference to the member’s somewhat questionable hair styles over the years.
What do you get for someone on his 60th birthday? A razor and a comb.
Happy birthday, @TGowdySC. pic.twitter.com/ZNWaPHZl7c— Mick Mulvaney (@MickMulvaneyOMB) August 22, 2017
The secretary’s office was unable to provide a comment to The Daily Caller News Foundation as to whether or not special goggles were needed to shield one’s eyes from sheer blinding light brought on from Mulvaney’s burn.
